SITUATION

In 2019, Pastor David Jeremiah’s Turning Point Ministries developed a five-city live arena tour to launch his new book, Overcomer. Turning Point asked Pillar to create a social media sales strategy to increase turnout at each of these events, specifically by reducing the declining ratio between free ticket requests and actual live attendance. GOALS: Improve awareness, ticket registration, volunteer recruitment, and event attendance.

ACTION

Relying on intimate knowledge about Christian audience values and Turning Point’s unique voice and purpose, Pillar created a tour event page as well as five city-specific events pages. Pillar boosted these pages, posted on a regular basis, and responded personally to comments and questions in order to increase geographic exposure. “We’re thrilled with the increases we saw across the board for our fall rallies, and it says a lot about the collaboration,” said Paul Joiner, Turning Point’s Creative Director and Executive Producer. “Pillar speaks our language. They know what matters to our ministry.”
